Istanbul International Environment Summit, organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality

6 – 8 December 2018 at the Eurasian Show and Art Center was held.

Increasing population, urbanization, changing consumption habits bring many negative effects. In addition to socio-economic impacts, rapid consumption of natural resources, water pollution, air pollution and climate change and its effects on resources are also emerging.

Istanbul International Environment Summit will be an important platform for “Transformation for Livable Environment” of public institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations, industrialists, urban planners, academicians, students and related sector representatives.

Within the scope of the summit; environmental action plan, waste recovery, waste energy generation, global climate change, environmental visions of governments and cities, conservation of biodiversity, sea surface, coastal and beach cleaning, environmentally friendly solutions and future perspectives will be focused on.

The Istanbul International Environment Summit met in Istanbul on the sessions, workshops and companies in the exhibition area.


It consists of sessions where national and international speakers share their knowledge and future visions.


It covers the joint studies on the production of strategic solutions to environmental problems to be carried out by environmental authorities.


The areas where the meetings related to the environment sector will be held with different network foci.
